In eight minutes it will be Christmas. Not that the exact time is particularly important. This has been a far better Christmas than I thought it would, especially thanks to neechan spending time with me. On Monday I will get slightly late Christmas cookies and music. Tomorrow I will wake up, make Christmas bread, open presents, give neechan her hat (I'm just starting the scarf) and relax for a few hours before beginning the preparation of Christmas dinner.dragonpoker and I will also sing some Christmas carols (I taught him some of the old pagan-y ones and he as suitably impressed) and then there will be reading and sleeping and video games and knitting. This is the way a break should be. FedEx hasn't billed me yet for sending my JET application, so I'm really worried that they never sent it, but I will try not to think about that until after I go back to Chicago. And there's always Aeon and Nova and applying next year.

I didn't post anything on soltice like I was planning to, but that's because I was too busy having fun. So merry Christmas, and happy late solstice, and remember that the days are getting longer and the light is coming back.

We need to meet up again so's I can pass off the music to you before you return to the frozen lands whence you came.
My brother and I were talking about my general romantic troubles, and he suggested I look into dating (person from college) since she fits the short but extremely limiting list of things I find attractive in women.
The next day she announced on LJ that she's probably moving to Chicago.

I may well be cursed enough in love to have a fabulous writing career.

Chicago is trying to steal all the Atlanta people. It'd take neechan, but she hates the cold too much. Where in Chicago is she going?
