Finals are over, the final paper is turned in, and two days of lying in bed playing Harvest Moon and reading novels have been a good recuperation. And so, to make up for missed days, we return with another Lord Wen story, this time with cannibalism. We actually heard about the beginning of this story way back in the first ZGC post.

Important stuff:
-Lord Wen of Wei (Wei Wen Hou), ruler of Wei and awesome guy. By now you probably remember him.
-Yue Yang: A general of Wei's army. His name means "musical sheep."
-Du Shican, one of Wei's advisers
-Wei, one of the warring states
-Zhongshan, a smaller waring state. It doesn't share a border with Wei, but does share one with Zhao.

Yue Yang, serving as the general of Wei, attacked Zhongshan. His son was in Zhongshan. The lord of Zhongshan boiled his son and presented Yue Yang with the broth. Yue Yang sat in the tent and gulped down the whole bowl. Lord Wen addressed Du Shican, saying, "On our behalf, Yue Yang ate his son's flesh." Can replied, "His own son's flesh, and still he ate it. Whose wouldn't he eat?" Yue Yang then quickly finished off Zhongshan. Lord Wen rewarded his achievements, but doubted his heart.
