Sep. 16th, 2004 02:12 pmLet me make one thing very clear: I am not, after all, in San Francisco. I know I kept saying I would be, but I was wrong. I am in the bay area, Palo Alto to be exact. Sushu takes this sort of thing seriously, or at least her fellow Palo Altans do. I got here on Tuesday, but didn't go online, and yesterday I actually was in San Francisco and didn'tget back until I was too exhausted to think. But I am here, and not in Atlanta or Chicago, which still feels strange to me. At least this time my flight left from a different terminal, so I wasn't quite as confused as I was going to Baltimore. Speaking of which, there's something slightly creepy about terminal D. Overall the flight was pleasant, and Sushu's place is comfortable. We went to Chinatown, but we didn't find the moonstone fountain, sadly. Perhaps next time. Japantown is nifty, and Golden Gate park is cool, and walking from each of the aforementioned three locations to the next was tiring, especially since we then walked the length of the park to the beach. Okay,I sleep now.
