This has been a fun weekend. Friday we attempted to play D&D, but didn't get very far due to random giggle fits and assorted silliness, plus our sleepy DM. So then we tried again on Saturday, but after maybe twenty minutes, Julian again called it off because he was still sleepy. Oh well. I talked to him about stuff, and he's angry at me, but not for anything I did, and there's nothing I can do about it. I don't think that's why he called off gaming, though. Saturday I got to make meat pies and a pear/apple/raspberry pie with Sushu and Catherine, which was lots of fun. They turned out quite well. And today it was so warm! 60 degrees! So Isaac and I called up Aza and invited him for a walk, only we got carried away and walked all the way to Chinatown to get bubble tea. The dumpling house there makes me very happy- they serve dim sum foods even in the evening, so I got to have shrimp dumplings, and shumai, and the Shanghai soupy dumplings that Sushu introduced me to. And then we came home. May went away today. She's been sick lately and hasn't been getting enough attention, so we gave her to a friend of her original owner's. He seems really nice, and he had a bird that lived 14 years, so it seems likely that he'll take care of her. Also, he says we can visit. Still, the apartment seems odd without her. It's going to be very quiet here for a while. But I will still have the cats, at least. Tip and Pots are good company.
